Verd strongly believes in innovation and its benefits towards achieving top quality. In 2010 we established a Biodiesel Research and Development division, which aims at constantly improving the biodiesel production process and the resulting by-products, as well as at developing new green products. Moreover, the Verd Research and Development division promotes the company’s participation in a wide range of national and European research projects, which allows it to access cutting edge technologies and become more visible at an international level.

At the same time, by constantly investing in new equipment and human resources, we keep researching and developing new green products with a wide range of applications, such as solvents, emulsifiers, cleaning products, etc.

Finally, in 2017, in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s Applied Thermodynamics Laboratory, Verd undertook as a subcontractor the implementation of the research project H2020- WP3, Stability and Robustness of actual FAME under the title: Engine tests with new types of biofuels and development of biofuel standards (Grant Agreement SA/CEN/RESEARCH/EFTA/000/2014-13)
